I could only listen to the first 10/15 minutes before falling off and unsubscribing for good. I loved the previous iteration of this show, but listening now to a man run on and on about what the diddy trial means to him as a black man without once referencing that a black WOMAN is at the center of this trial made me feel sick. If you’re talking about what this means for the justice system and blackness and you can’t reckon for a second with what it means when a black woman’s abuse is let off the hook - that’s despicable. Maybe you get to it eventually, but listeners shouldn’t have to wait and wonder if this show thinks the abuse of black women matters. Justice for Cassie and all abuse survivors, especially the multiply marginalized.

I have long admired Wesley Morris and am always happy when I see him create or guest star on a Podcast. I have a deep respect for his thoughtfulness and am ever entertained by his joyful approach to culture and the world at large. He even makes the vegetables taste good when he invites you to grapple with the difficult questions. And with this new podcast he seems to have reached even greater heights. Give me more and more episodes please!!!
